Unleash your inner superhero at the Be a Hero Pickleball Tournament, an action-packed event for champions of all skill levels—whether you're a seasoned pro or a total beginner! This fun, recreational event supports a cause that truly makes a difference. Partnering with Youth Connect Center, we aim to eliminate barriers for youth by providing a safe space to connect with community resources and support.

Grab your masks, capes, and paddles, and join us for an unforgettable day of pickleball, where every serve helps make a difference—no experience required!

EVENT DETAILS AT A GLANCE

When: February 1st, starting at 9am.

Where: Classics Yard, Springfield MO

Who: Adults (Co-Ed), 18+

Format: Doubles- Double elimination tournament

Cost: $20 per player

Prizes for 1st and 2nd Place:
- 1st Place: $80
- 2nd Place: Entry fee reimbursement

Cause: Foster Adopt Connect: Youth Connect Center

Tournament Format

  • A Blind Draw Double Elimination

  • All games will be self-officiated. We operate on the honor system. There will be a QCSSC team member on site to help interpret rules or help settle any discrepancies between the two teams that arise.

Need to knows

  • All participants must be 18 or older, register, pay, and sign a waiver

  • Each team consists of 2 players

  • There are no gender requirements

  • Keep it light, folks—it's pickleball, not the Olympics!

What to bring

  • Pickleball Paddle

  • Athletic shoes

  • Great attitude

  • A cool team name

  • Superhero Costume (Optional but don’t be lame!)

  • Your balls! (JK. We’ll have those.)
